What is the Enneagram?
It is similar to the Myers-Briggs or the disc personality profiles, but what the Enneagram is known for, is its accuracy describing how humans are wired and the lens through which we see the world.

A Mirror to Your Inner Self
Myers Briggs and other assessments are more focused on the behaviors while Enneagram is focused more on motivations. A more detailed answer is an organized set of character structures (9 personality types) that explains how we relate to the world based on our core motivations. While some personality structures box you in, the Enneagram holds a mirror up and shows us how small we’ve made our box and illuminates a path for how to get out of the box. It helps us build compassion and empathy both for ourselves and for others as we understand why we do the things that we do.
Identifying your type provides insight into the lens through which you see the world, the box you may have put yourself in or allowed someone else to put you in. It also explores some of your core fears, desires, longings, and strengths. Understanding these things about yourself and others can provide tremendous fuel to improve relationships, marriages, work productivity and communication.
